Joe Jonas might be burnin' up, but it's due to the sun and not a new romance.
While the Jonas Brothers member, 34, recently spent a day on the beach with Lebanese actress Laila Abdallah, 28, at the One&Only resort Athens, Greece, the pair have not yet been bitten by a lovebug.
In fact, a source close to the event told E! News the pair are just friends and were there along with a number of other celebrities for the resort's grand opening June 10.
Joe's beach day outing comes hot on the heels of his six-month romance with model Stormi Bree, which ended in early June. While neither Joe nor Stormi ever confirmed the romance, in the months since the new year the pair were often spotted spending time together, including travels to Los Cabos, Colorado, New York and Australia.
Additionally, Stormi—who is mom to 6-year-old daughter Gravity with ex Lucky Blue Smith—shared a message with fans right before her breakup with Joe was reported.
"Wanted to give you a little brain break if you're stressed or sad or just need to take a deep breath and reset," the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram May 29, alongside a video of a waterfall. "Remember whoever you are you're so loved and I hope you're having a wonderful day and being kind to yourself."
As for Joe, he first sparked romance rumors with Stormi four months after he and Sophie Turner—with whom he shares daughters Willa Jonas, 3, and Delphine Jonas, 22 months—broke up after four years of marriage.
And while the immediate aftermath of Joe's filing for divorce in September 2023 quickly turned contentious, Sophie—who has moved on with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson—recently gave an update on where she and Joe stand today.
"I'm unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children," the Game of Thrones alum told British Vogue in an interview published May 15. "They're the victims in all of this. But I think we're doing the best we can."
"I'm confident that we can figure it out," she continued. "Joe is a great father to our children and that's all that I can ask for."
